Finally, this was probably my biggest gripe with it.

Damn I wish I saw that 5 hours ago, it's just what I needed.

Very cool!!! I had this idea a while. Is the conversational part of the dataset open?

Personally, I saw it on the tweet from Jan Leike. https://x.com/janleike/status/1767347608065106387?s=20

Gosh, this made me laugh out loud. Thanks XD

Wow, that's nice. I didn't know about that one. Thank you for posting!

I love ante's concept, I need to try actually using it sometime.

Ante is still mostly unusable unfortunately! Ownership & Borrowing were a relatively recent change and I've still yet to implement them. Algebraic effects are also still in progress in a dev branch and won't be merged for some time. You can use the language today but it will feel more like C with traits, generics, and bugs rather than a more featureful language.

The language does have a basic language server already though! It currently supports inline diagnostics and hover to show type.

I saw the talk at FOSDEM and greatly enjoyed it. Someone sitting next to me was busy coding on 9front haha

:-D

Thanks!

I had some great feedback from some 9Front folks and ended up meeting up with a bunch of them after the event.

Given that I was half-expecting a lynch mob, this was a very pleasant surprise indeed... ;-)

FOSDEM was my first conference, and I'm glad I attended. I wish I had talked with more people and better planned my day, but there's always next year!

Time/Task management. I always feel like I'm barely keeping up with my life and I don't use my time intentionally.
