I've come across at least one fundamental and very official document from the central government in Peking that was made available as a Word document rather than a PDF. So strange.
Does it involve the LDVS board that you solder to the main board? I'm looking for a good source and one that doesn't cause problems with the setting for brightness.
Yes, got mine a few years back from taobao (I no longer remember specific details). IIRC the brightness control Just Worked however the chip in charge of that seems to have failed at some point and now I'm stuck at 100% brightness (I no longer daily-drive this thinkpad so I haven't bothered fixing it properly). Unsure if it's down to a design fault with the mod board or I just got unlucky.
Nice idea! So different to phonetic transcriptions of names written with Latin characters.
Would be nice to include Cantonese Jyutping in addition to the Chinese characters.
It's run by the son of Charles Gave, Louis-Vincent. Fairly well known in France. Successful investors. Check out Charles's philanthropic project, the Institut des Libertés.
Wait a second. Did Bombardier have other offers for the C Series? It's a great plane but the circumstances of the sale are unknown to me. It happened so fast.
As far as I know, they had no other choice. Boeing was rumored to be working with them for a while on an acquisition, but then abandoned them and left them in a very vulnerable position. Smaller companies without lots of working capital cannot absorb a big strategic change like that. They had probably already had discussions with Airbus that made closing it out much quicker than any alternative.
> We saw what happened to Bud Light when they ran a pride campaign - from which they're still recovering. Tractor Supply Company is currently reeling from their "woke" campaign. Both companies have right-wing majority markets and they lost significant sales and market share.
Perhaps not the central point of your message, I find the above phenomenon fascinating. I.e., a company that inexplicably alienates its principal demographic of clients through a seemingly unwise publicity campaign. I have the feeling that we're dealing with amateurish attempts to gain some points for the 'S' in ESG.
Like I said, it's...interesting. Even more so considering we have more customer demographic data than ever, and these kinds of blunders are being made.
The rabbit hole of Chinese and Italy goes even deeper. They go gaga about Italy, at least Chinese women. I've listened to two Chinese women go on and on how Italy has a culture similar to Chinese etc. Prato is the tip of the iceberg if you ask me.
