Thank you for this thorough analysis. I've built an extension myself with React and TypeScript an honestly I don't know why I would need an extra tooling to make this work. The docs supplied by Google are quite good!

> The docs supplied by Google are quite good!

They are okayish in my book.

Personally, I prefer using the MDN docs [0][1] for web extensions as I am using mozilla's polyfill library [2] anyway. These contain more practical examples and less abstract descriptions at times, including a very thorough getting started guide [3] going over everything including various concepts.

The point remains the same though, the basics aren't all that difficult and while Plasmo does seem to make some aspects easier it also seems like overkill in other areas in regard to abstraction.

My disorder was caused by too much ATP in the mitochondria and too little in the cytosol. I have a Partial PNP Deficiency[1].

The higher ATP and GTP in my mitochondria causes higher sensitivity to all the G Protein Coupled Receptors[2], this includes the serotonin and dopamine receptors. So any increases in serotonin was exaggerated leading to psychosis and delusions much like someone would have on psilocybin.

This was cured by a low calorie, high seafood diet, a lot of walking, and limiting exposure to oxidative stressors like air pollution.

Most people however have the opposite problem; too little ATP in the mitochondria and too much in the cytosol. This leads to low energy receptor function. So when that person is exposed to dopamine there is very little reaction so they keep seeking dopamine. Hence we have depression and addiction.

In short, changes in the Purinergic pathway cause mood disorders. And this is not even a radical statement, it is just not well known[3].

So you can see why things like SSRIs will work, but stop working after a while. Since nothing is being done to correct the low mitochondrial ATP.

Comments so far?

What kind of agenda/propaganda is it? Which values are promoted?

I don't think there is an agenda, but design by committee has gotten to the point where it does look like there is one. If you are hell bent on checking the same set of was-well-received-before boxes in every piece of schlock you pump out, people reasonably start to believe that checking boxes is the point. From there any checkbox that doesn't align with viewer's world view is perceived as propaganda.

Assume that I have no real reference point for what you're talking about. What sort of things, specifically, are you noticing?

Violence. Extreme right.

I searched for Dracula, got documentaries about nazis.

I mean, what are said documentaries about the nazis like? Are they presenting an uncritical viewpoint? I don't think I've ever seen a documentary about the nazis not include the context of all the horrible shit they did

Not OP. They're pushing an agenda is the general criticism. E.g. I'm all for them not excluding minorities. If the show does good, it does good. It's a universal unassailable good/win. But when they want to enforce quotas and promoting DEI content synthetically and unnaturally, then they've crossed a line.

And there it is. Lemme guess, you lost your shit when LOTR included a black elf, right?

> I'm going to be quite honest, but I do believe what holds together the countries I mentioned is their faith, which is Hinduism and Buddhism respectively

Can you elaborate on how Hinduism makes it better?

Maybe read my comment again.

> I mean, we have those HN outcry/support threads since quite a while

What threads, can you elaborate please?

Every few weeks a "Tell HN:" post makes it to the frontpage complaining about [ Google | Stripe | xxx ]'s non-accessible customer service and how some black box systems just banned their account, [ freezing $100k in credit on their account | denying access to 10 years worth of mail | xxx ].

Choose one from the brackets or imagine your own scenario.

There's also a JS version which I slightly modified to make a retro visualisation for some music (work in progress ;P) http://lnrtw.cz/kyyb/ I've never owned a TRS-80 but I enjoyed using this a lot, completely different way of thinking about coding (for a person that started with modern languages like Python)
