Looks like it's an issue on all Chrome installations Confirmed, Chrome (Ubuntu 9.10)

Situation may be different. Co-founder may sell fast by promising more features. If it's done without consultations with tech co-founder it may break the architecture and development cycle completely. And in case feature was promised and never delivered customers will be disillusioned.

It's interesting that WP Stats is the least popular app. Even simple Big Red Button ("Don't push this button" app) beats it!

Actually it's a bit sad to see that market is more favorable to some "cool" simple apps rather to useful, but more complex.

I can't agree more. I was really disappointed when found out that I need to wait for release. Most likely I'll forgot unless it will appear on top of HN next week.

They announce this sort of thing as "New Features" in the GMail interface itself. So you don't need HN to remind you.

Take a look on 2checkout.com. We are using it for more than a month already(moved from PayPal to accept customers who can't use PayPal).

Such device can be great to ship your web products to customers. For example you can create CRM system or web gallery and ship it on SheevaPlug. So client will be able to plug it in his local network and have it working without any complex setup.

Whoa. Dnepropetrovsk.

Whoa. My gf is from Dnepropetrovsk! I'm from Kharkov originally. Both in US now. (grew up in NY mostly) :)

I'm in Kyiv, Ukraine. There's a small startup scene here too; but most folks here work in large outsourcing firms.

I absolutely agree. Test mini-project is probably the best way to see person in action. No tests, recommendations or anything else can assure that person will actually fit your team.

The is a good reading regarding similarities of religion (especially ancient east philosophies) and modern science. If anyone is interested take a look at F.Kapra's book "Dao of physics". I've read it on my philosophy class in uni. After it I see much less contradictions.

One of my favorite quotes is by H. Skovoroda: "Merciful God for making the attainment of what is necessary easy, and for making everything that is hard to get unnecessary"
