The problem with ads on the internet is how they are so often abused, leading to a terrible user experience. Ad-blockers are the result of that abuse.

You may call it piracy, but that so called piracy is a direct result of abuse.

I personally disable my blocker for sites I support and which do not abuse the user experience.
