This is a phenomena and wonder if they are afraid of humans and the damage we are doing to the oceans with those underground cable lines..we love the internet. Those lines run under the ocean floor and studies are scarce on the impact cable lines are having on the ocean floor. Just commenting
1) the European colonial powers were losing their empires,
2) the EU wouldn't exist in any form until several years after he died,
3) USSR (in which he was in command for a good chunk of time) was propelled from a rural provincial power into one of the two global superpowers (who, among other things, was crucial in defeating the Nazi Germany)
4) he had an iron rule in said USSR, and managed to secure half of Europe (and half of what is now EU, including half of Germany) for his extended empire
Plus a lot of murders and political power plays...
So, yeah, he was hardly just someone "writing poems" and losing time...
Stalin stopped writing his poems years before the USSR even existed at all. Before that latter date he had already spent several years as a professional revolutionary (and in prison camps).
Iran knows how to play this game because the Middle East is somewhat personal....they appear to be a family run oil business. IF we took oil away from the M.E. equation then it would be void..just saying. This game is slated to change becasue of the large oil discoveries taking place in Guyana and it is going to surpass what the Saudi has been touting as their "real production". Perhaps the USA needs to shift it's focus a little more to the Americas. Just adding to your comment
Yup, which makes you wonder why poor people go to the USA compared to say the Netherlands or some European country. If you are poor in the USA, you will be exploited.
It baffles me as well. Especially considering that the "American Dream" (technically defined as Social Mobility [1]) is more achievable in Europe. Especially in Scandinavian countries which are also the "happiest" countries on the planet.
