Pinecil ftw

Wow maybe this would be news if it was made last year

It’s all good if you need something more vanilla there is discord.

You are the reason why they don’t.

Huh? What are you saying?

Each film industry profession has a powerful guild to maximize the value they can extract. I think it's reasonable to understand why this cartel-like behavior doesn't apply to restricting the supply of autographs?

This is not doing one or two autographs for an actual fan. This is giving away hundreds of autographs to charismatic middle-men.

Seems like an opportunity for a more organized group (eg, Screen Actors Guild) to corner the supply that underpins the autograph market and better compensate the actors themselves based on the market value of their autographs.

I’m so sorry. I hope you have moved on.

Why haven’t you invested in a open source alternative that doesn’t limit your choices?

What would an "open source alternative" to The Economist look like exactly?

I meant the e reader, not the economist, to clarify.

Ah yes, the DRM that is solved by buying a device which does not support said DRM.

Also there are many open source e readers, that include e ink technology too. Amazon tried but idk something’s off.. smells like Microsoft… a bit if you ask me :^)

You've not understood the problem.

The problem is not the devices that support DRM.

Many ereaders support some form of DRM, but that doesn't stop you reading both free and paid content without DRM.

The problem is that the content (Newspapers/Magazine) is not made available via a suitable medium to continue reading it on an ereader.

I have fun as an electrician that is not a union electrician because I am free to choose my work.

They deserve it.

It’s not finished until more Microsoft and Mac users convert to Linux.

As an American I’ve always seen it as “Kiev” in sources/media.

In Anglosphere we always spelled it Kiev. I understand their desire to separate from Russia, but you can't force other countries to change their language. We don't use Deutschland or Kyiv.

> but you can't force other countries to change their language.

You are a bit late, because Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine already doing this.[0,1,2]

On Twitter 'MFA_Ukraine' and 'CorrectUA' already posted successful cases.[3]

Oh I know about the campaign, my point is that you cannot force people in other countries to change their language. We spell Kyiv Kiev.
