LaterPay is building a HTTPS/JSON/REST API-driven MicroPayment provider. We're VC-financed and are currently a small team of 16 people, working in the EU.
We are searching for operations engineers and developers. Your progress at Laterpay will be evaluated based on fulfilling your duties, quality of work and great communication. In a distributed working environment - communication is the absolute key to success, so as a distributed company with employees all over the world, we require you to speak and write English fluently and we would like you to have the legal right to work in the EU. That can be worked around, but it makes things easier.

• Open Source contributions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of Git and ability to integrate with deployment strategies. Knowing Git Flow is also a plus.

Front-End Engineer and UX Designer LATERPAY - Munich, Germany (fulltime, remote work possible)
UX DESIGNER
We are looking for a full-time front-end UX designer who will take care of our HTML5/JavaScript based clients for desktop browsers, tablets and mobile.
You should have a strong portfolio of work and have general knowledge of the current state-of-the-art in web user experience and design. We are currently revamping our user experience completely.

UX design in the payment space is governed by contractual and legal limitations, so creating great designs that incorporate such limitations should be your strong suit. Your job will be to improve designs across all of our internet-facing systems, create new, beautiful device-specific payment experiences and then work with front-end engineers to get them implemented and deployed.
FRONT-END ENGINEER
LaterPay is creating a HTML5, JavaScript, JSON/REST based, secure payment experience.
We are looking for a full-time front-end engineer with deep knowledge, experience any a keen interest in
- HTML(5),
- CSS (based around purecss.io and Stylus)
- JavaScript (YUI and/or jQuery), because that's what our plug-ins are based around and
- JavaScript application libraries like React.js
- strong opinions about user experience and great code with high maintainability
- experience with Django and Python is a plus as that is our server-side stack
- automated testing

The one thing that YUI does better than any other library is isolation. You can have multiple versions of YUI in the same page, each sandboxed against each other. That means that if you deliver JavaScript for other developers to include in their pages, YUI is an awesome framework or even the only real option. Thanks to YUI Loader it's even self-repairing. jQuery's noConflict is a far cry from that.
Can any if the other libraries mentioned here (especially the newer ones like React and EmberJS) provide the same thing?
When I read threads like this and I see pages like polygon.com that pull in tens if not hundreds of external JavaScript resources, I always think that the YUI sandbox model is still 5 years ahead of the status quo in other libraries.
Again, does anyone know here of alternatives for sandboxing?
The problem with that was that performance sucked when there were too many sandboxes, so the first thing teams did was combine into one yui instance, defeating the purpose.
