Twitch is definitely doing something right. Non-mainstream sports should definitely see what Twitch has done with the gaming world and try to do the same with their perspective sports. ESPN does a great job covering the mainstream sports, and they have yet to capture the secondary sports market. Seems like an opportunity for someone to do.

I agree with the idea of not being sure about MM's stance on quality. If they literally thought we wouldn't be able to taste the difference - that's a bit disappointing.

Can you have a filter to rank by points? Would love to sort based on that to see the best "Show HN". :)

Totally agree. Our first pass was to pull in location information from Google Places and Foursquare, but we feel the beauty of something like this would be the unique locations like you mentioned above.
