I don't know how to send you a DM or add you here, but I sent you a LinkedIn request!

I just added you so I can dm you my resume (Cooper)! Thanks.

Looks interesting! Have you considered providing a way to sync routes directly to Running watches?

I actually have. Watch this space - there should be direct route syncing to Garmin and Suunto before terribly long. In the meantime, you can export routes to GPX/KML files already.

This is an interesting point, and I think one that anyone considering this approach should consider. The way we segregate multi-cloud is the delivery of primarily our front-end app. Depending on if you are in an EU or US region you will be redirect to an API instance and then have direct connectivity of that API, this is mainly due to regulatory requirements.

As a 2nd data point check-out https://www.backplane.io/ - from Blake Mizeranyt the (former) technical lead of etcd

Nice spot, we have moved the link up to the top of the post such that people can jump directly to the CF blog link.

My mistake, seems like whitespace+html+copy+paste to the HN poster went wrong here. We too have been trying to get it back to its former state ;)

Will make sure I get an accredited third party to review before posting the next one!

If anyone is in London/SF hit me up for a beer or three :)

This is as close as our team got without knowing the answer:

If curious, it was a Columnar Transposition with Billforward as the key!

Thanks, couldn't get this result trying said method. :\

I know it's counter to your question, but it really is quite trivial to containerise a java app, for example:

  FROM openjdk:8u92-jdk-alpine
  COPY file.jar file.jar

  CMD java -Duser.timezone=UTC -cp file.jar com.foo

and to stay on-topic, you can run java apps in mesos without a docker wrapper :)

Worked next to the FE guys in a startup space and they are certainly hard working guys and know there stuff. Would recommend chatting to as well.

This is indeed very sad news. We at BillForward (YCS14) found the Balanced payments platform for ACH very well designed.

Plaid and Stripe certainly have caught up and both and offer good ACH alternatives. Best of luck to those migrating. Happy to chat with anyone who is interested in help with gateway independent ACH payments and subscription management. I'm on ian AT billforward . NET

There is a lot interesting stuff going on in the hiring space, I like that this has a human touch - uber-for interviewers.

have you thought of working with something like https://clarity.fm/?

As someone who used to play with debugger implementations a bunch it's nice to see some articles digging into this.

Only feedback I would give is to remove the shadow on your text, I had to manually disable the shadow before I was able to read :).

thanks,

regarding your feedback, I don't see any shadow in FF! The CSS is not mine, and there's indeed a `text-shadow` set for the text so I've removed it. Let me know if it's still bad, and maybe which browser you're using

Seconded.
