indeed very good discussion. I also personally think that PS5 floodgates are now open.

otherwise, it would be really hard to scale with a strong dollar :)

it is using qemu's network stack, would like to know how performant it is.

yeah it's a fairy tale.

shorter cold-boot times.

If we’re talking about cold boot times, wouldn’t the relevant metric for unikernels be the hypervisor’s boot time?

How would that compare with containers running on Firecracker or other virtio-based μVM's?

A unikernel on Firecracker is probably going to start faster than a container on Linux on Firecracker.

I assume they meant using an OCI image for the rootfs of a firecracker VM, not running a container inside a firecracker VM.

Still difficult to see how the unikernel could be slower, but I doubt the difference would be huge? Don't have anything to back that up though.

I used gemini-3-pro-preview on Deepwalker [0]. It was good, then switched to gemini-3-flash, It's ok. It gets the job done. Looking for some alternatives such as GLM and Minimax. Very curious about their agentic performance. Like long running tasks with reasoning.

hey,

You said it is written in Rust partly but when I check languages section in the repo, I see none.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and my sincere apologies for the oversight. The Rust file was inadvertently missed in the previous commit.

I will update it promptly and ensure it is included correctly. Please give a star to repo, if you loved.

Forgive my ignorance but how can it be written in Rust and the not contain Rust due to "a rust file missing"

That’s a fair question — thanks for calling it out.

The Rust component is a small, standalone module (used for the latency-critical fast path) that was referenced in the write-up but was not included in the last public commit due to an oversight. Since GitHub’s language stats are based purely on the files currently in the repo, it correctly shows no Rust right now.

I’m updating the repository to include that Rust module so the implementation matches the description. Until then, the language breakdown you’re seeing is accurate for the current commit.

Appreciate the scrutiny — it helps keep things honest.

This is such LLM slop.

"The core-and most-critical component-was left-out." Jesus-h-cluster-fucking-catastra-christ. If one of these data centers ever catches fire I will show up and make smores.

I think the future is mobile when it comes AI agents, If you are also looking for a new approach, I would suggest DeepWalker. It is mobile first automation, currently works on android.

Congrats! I’m sure the Spotify lawyers are gonna have some sleepless nights ahead.
