Its not about the product or features any more - LinkedIn wins because of its network.

These days, LinkedIn may be ruining that network because of the sheer noise in it all.

This! It always nice to get the 101st message from random recruiter that ends up in a decent job. And I must only keep my profile updated.

that's fair. on the other hand, i'd rather use a platform with higher quality people (regardless of quantity) than a platform that simply values vanity metrics. i guess it also depends what you're using linkedin for.

I dont agree with the post, but wait til you hear about `record`.

> We have 35 other candidates in the hiring pipeline

Sounds like low skill, or entry-level work. or nah?

It's a combination of the current market and the area of work. One Elixir position I want had their hiring guy say on Slack they now have 900+ applications and that's some short 2 weeks after the job ad was posted. Crazy.

Explore downloads an EXE. No. Thanks.

Fantastic, thank you.

Unless your potential product is for tech users, I don't think IndieHackers is a good place to discuss your idea. If you're building software for cafe owners or dentists, then you need to be talking to groups of cafe owners or dentists, not other tech guys like you.

I see what you did there. This is a trick question though :)

Submission title is accurate.

I also have an app based on bootstrap. The most common feedback was "it looks like bootstrap"

Yah, we've been hearing it quite a bit. It might be mostly because of the colors. We'll probably look at toning it down in the near future.

The header of your blog has a link without the www subdomin. It doesn't work.

Good catch! We're fixing this now.
