NJ and CA. You can't make guns at all in NJ, and you need a firearm permit to buy an airgun or bb gun.

A lot of Iranians would probably love for us to send weapons. There are videos of Iranians celebrating the bombings of IRGC bases during the 12-day war.

Ukraine didn't attack Russia. Hamas attacked Israel.

Didn't know Hamas was a country now.

It had a polity. Which is a country, just not a recognized country. It for all intents and purposes ruled the polity/country of Gaza.

They should keep the chewed up pieces and make it part of the exhibit.

The chewed up artwork on the floor makes a better art piece than generic AI art. In fact it too counts as a form of "AI psychosis" so it even fits with the original theme.

Yeah, I actually think this would be a pretty sweet exhibit

Kinda wonder if that’s the point.

There is a market for luxury electric pick-ups, and it's dominated by Rivian.

That market is insanely small. Rivian doesn't sell many trucks these days. The bed is also too small.

Making it look too much like a regular F-150 was a mistake. You need the vehicle to look distinctive enough for it to market itself.

I guess that’s kind of the defense of Musk on the cyber truck. If Ford can’t sell hem off their F150 platform, it means you need to make more of a splash. He just went too far…

I've seen an argument that the Prius was intentionally made "ugly/noticeable" because they knew the buyers would be interested in the technology AND want to be recognizable as such.

When hybrids are common, the styling reverted to more normal car-like.

The first gen Prius just looked like an average car

I would argue against that! If anything, I hated the firs hybrids that where distinctly different, and ugly.

There's an argument that they did that intentionally - some hated it, but more bought it because they wanted to be recognized as having bought a hybrid - hence the "Toyota Pius" nickname.

Yep. If eviction rules aren't loosened, these SROs will only be rented to people with >700 credit scores just like normal apartments. The people who need them most still won't get them.

This makes no sense. Putting the AI issue aside, do Microsoft employees not get annoyed by file explorer frequently hanging or crashing?

I bet that the systems that Microsoft employees used internally at the time (mid 2000s) were the ones probably best supported by Vista in terms of drivers and performance.

There are many successful co-ops all over the world, including in the US. You just don't hear about them because they don't look much different from corporations from the perspective of the average person.

Unions often end up decreasing productivity due to added bureaucracy, leading to ultimately worse compensation in the long run.

Let’s talk about how HR increases productivity

Unions remove the need for HR?
