Tailscale routes my mobile device dns through my pile back at the home. I have nginx setup with easy to remember domains (photos.my domain.com) that work when i’m away as well without exposing anything to the open internet.
Why not call it VPN if that's what it is? In your case, it sounds like configuring your "pile" (is that a DNS server, short for pihole maybe?) on your phone would do the same thing, but if the goal is to not expose anything to the open internet, a VPN would be the thing that does that
My understanding is that grok api is way different than the grok x bot. Which of course does Grok as a business any favors. Personally, I do not engage with either.
Grok is good for up-to-the-minute information, and for requests that other chat services refuse to entertain, like requests for instructions on how to physically disable the cellular modem in your car.
I sat in my kid's extracurricular a couple months ago and had an FBI agent tell me that Grok was the most trustworthy based on "studies," so that's what she had for her office.
I installed 30.56 from the git link on my Shield. It did not overwrite the old one, as it has the old signature. I manually uninstalled 30.48. I did not use the backup/restore option in either as I didnt want to dirty any data in the new app.
Assuming the old unhealthy man doesnt die and can make those pardons, and you are still in his good graces when he is handing them out… sounds like a risky bet to me.
They have never been held accountable, nothing short of a revolution would hold them accountable right now. They're also becoming rich beyond consequences, so doesn't even matter if there are some consequences for it later.
They were not quickly defeated. And as it stands currently, I thought there was only 1 somewhat involved hardware mod that worked. as opposed to any spy cam that you can guy purchase from amazon for a fraction of the cost.
My social media algorithm may be tricking me into thinking it’s more ubiquitous than it is, but i was fed quite a bit of content about it until I ‘dislike’d it into oblivion (its a norms change i am not aligned with).
As a society, we limit children's access to predatory stuff all the time - porn, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling/lottery, guns, even swear words on the public airwaves.
While I agree with your overall statement, I want to note that OP said private enterprise, not private cameras. Flock is doing more than distributing hardware here.
