TCP/IP has 48 bits for addressing, this is more than enough for the world. There are inefficiencies currently with allocating these bits, but they're easier to solve than adopting IPv6.
It has 32 addressing bits, and even if it did have 48 that wouldn't be enough. Inefficient allocation isn't the problem; there's just not enough address space for the Internet at the scale it's reached.
v6 is much easier (and cheaper) to deal with than layers and layers of NAT everywhere.
Literally. People thought the death of God would bring enlightenment to society. Instead, God was replaced by stupid idols. You only have to look at the resurgence of astrology among young women.
No one, not even a super rich “genius” can come in to a company, having done no due diligence, and within 2 weeks correctly and rapidly identify the over half of staff that are in fact redundant and not critical to operations. Add to that the cultural problems causing mass resignations, and even if you are 100% correct that it was over staffed, then it’s clear that this was not the correct way to handle it, and even the smallest modicum of common sense would clearly show that.
Elon did, does that upset you? You say "no one can" but he did. The platform is not on fire, it hasn't been down for any relevant amount of time. Even if it were, it's twitter, not critical infrastructures. Some people won't be able to post hot takes and snarky retorts. Oh my.
Keeping steady state is not impressive. But we’ll see when another log4j happens, and everyone’s phone numbers and other personal information is leaked.
> By having the user@.service template be enrolled in systemd-oomd, Fedora made the cgroup that systemd-oomd would select to be killed be all of your processes
This is so obviously poorly thought-out as to border malicious negligence.
I think it's a weird objection because it's a work of fiction whose content is irrelevant, but the post-revamp screenshot has an email from "Alessandro" but an feminine-looking avatar, and there's the keys for a "Darlene" who looks masculine and a Armando/herman who also looks feminine. Most of us can smell a random record constructor when we're near one but apparently not everyone.
