There's plenty of cashflow to negate the occasional fraud/chargeback. This is presumably how Venmo works.

It takes a very low % of chargebacks to completely negate any profits.

Profits for whom?

iirc, Stripe holds the platform liable, so they get paid either way.

So, the question is whether the extra fee they are charging is worth it, since you would be liable for chargebacks anyway?

I think the current title does a better job than the title you suggested.

Title when I wrote that didn't day "Indie Hackers". Those were a magical extra two words ^__^

Same thoughts here.

Thank you too!

Confused about what's being offered here. At first glance looks just like any other restaurant site with a menu.

I'm surprised by the level of effort put into the bug report video.

I found this hilarious. Genuinely interested in hearing if there's a meaning behind the name.

the man/woman probably just likes dragonball z.

They likely already preset views and controllers to react to backend events. If they add an event like "pride" to the backend, the app just has to render the view associated with that event.

Pro-founder does not mean they drop all standards and expectations. I'm not familiar with their entire portfolio, but using the Zenefits case (where the founder is accused of fraud) is a poor argument to support your claim that they are not pro-founder.

I'm not saying they are or aren't profounder. I just think Zenefits is not a good example to use to make sweeping accusations about the firm.

They do. But this occurred during the verification process. Meaning, the amazon email was sent to spam (not an email I tried to send).

ESPs warm up their ips and prepare them before putting them into production, where they're tasked with sending billions of emails on a regular basis. These IPs used in production are considered "professional grade".
