Depends on the kind of game, but probably not. That's not really the purpose it's meant for, so it will probably never get to that state.

Sure it is, use MoltenVK or `portability` from this article :)

Why would they make a github repo with this exploit for a seemingly not-fixed bug? If you're a security researcher it shouldn't be that hard for you to replicate it, and if you're not, there's no reason for you to have access to an app that lets you easily MITM someone's tinder results.

Because if shit like this gets magically patched and no one gets hurt, most people will continue to not care and groups like Tindr can continue to be lazy and do shit like this.

It doesn't even have to be bad. I was very nearly kicked out of my middle school just for booting from (!) my own live Linux USB drive on a school computer.

I would say try VSCode with the Vim plugin. VSCode is much snappier than atom, the Vim plugin is quite good, the configuration files are easy to edit, built-in awesome git integration and project-wide search, and amazing plugin support. I moved from a super custom Vim to VSCode and I'm pretty damn happy most of the time.

It doesn't have to be easier, it has to be more approachable. The most important part of programming is problem solving no matter how you're doing it, visual, imperative, functional, etc. Some interfaces are much more friendly to different people than others. Text programming often puts off non-programmers instantly, and they are able to reason about visual programming languages much easier than they would text-based ones without putting more time into them.

Email re-hosted on my website because I couldn't find an official public announcement.

In this day and age, open source tools are usually more private than their closed source counterparts. Usually. But, they also usually require you to do extra configuration or setup to get the privacy benefits
