Have you used Beamoff to disable beam sync? Once it runs, the performance is drastically improved.


Wow I never heard of beam sync or beamoff -- great tip! Googling for that found some other useful vm performance stuff.

Looks like it might only work in older operating systems since El Capitan is based on Metal instead of OpenGL.

The subscription entitles you to updates, but you can cancel it and still have access to the SDK, it's tools and can also release yr game without an active subscription. The 5% is still applied, but you have to reach a certain sum of sales before it's incurred.

I've also noticed recently that I can cast to my PS3 from the Chromecast icon in the YouTube app, so long as the PS3 YouTube app is running. I see it alongside my chromecast as an option. Presumably, the PS3 Netflix app behaves the same way.
