the slug's are unique...so I didn't want just anyone to make a profile....there is a github option you can look into that ....what is the hesitation to using github..can you tell me ??
This is just the starting mvp...I will make it a platform once more users sign up..but I wanted to give users a good value proposition in the beginning ...so i gave them a minimalist portfolio page. I also added a job board with over 10,000 jobs curated from various resources..i am open to any suggestion..
The value is a single source of truth...if you were to add a page on your blog you would have to take care not to change the link in the future...this is not the case here.

But we have control over our own blogs and URLs. We have no control over you shutting down your site. That value prop feels like a big stretch.
Your site itself is fine... you just haven't yet solved a problem for most people in a new way, so you need to keep working on it to figure out what unique value this can have.
Do you think your gf leaving you was bcoz u lost your job and could contribute anymore...sorry for asking this...but I see this happen a few times these past years...friend loses job...months later gf leaves...I am beginning to think those incels are on to something..
This is not only for developers...it is also for others..plus this is just a intermediary between your potential recruiter and your portfolio website...there is an option to add a link to your personal website in the app...
It's agnostic toward the how a person wants to hire you...maybe for a full time job...or a someone looking to just pair program or a freelance job...
Plus it is easier to update your profile than change links on your website...
