I'm an anonymous internet poster, I don't have a suggestion for who you should idolize. But picking Linus is a red flag. His man-child entitled attitude, condescension, arrogance, etc, make him a parody of a toxic developer that ruins teams from the inside out. Normalizing and uplifting that behavior makes us all worse off.
