No, not about the same, precisely the same, except for rounding error (which is worse for Goertzel.) The numerical result you will get is precisely the same. If bin 27 of your FFT over some segment of some signal is 4.557 + 6.288j, then Goertzel for that frequency and that segment will also give you 4.557 + 6.288j.
