It took me about an hour of clicking but I seem to have a FB feed that is just my friends in chronological order again:

I had to go into my groups settings and unfollow them all individually though:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/feed/

Same for pages:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=liked&ref=bookmarks
