Damn what a tragic story ! It's almost "cosmic-sadistic" that she got sick working with "natural materials".
It's also scary that the amount and variety of doctors she saw couldn't diagnose any of this. The best/closest they got was "are you working with anything toxic ?" - How in the blue-hell does most of us know the 'true' answer to that !?
It is almost like we need a new medical-specialty "Domestic And Industrial Toxicity"
a Few years ago my mom died after a bone-marrow transplant, she became very suddenly very sick, her body mostly stopped producing white-blood-cells.
She was mostly a stay-at-home wife/mom and lived with my dad in Amsterdam in a nice apartment.
He is 100% fine and for most part they share the same environment 80% of the time. The only difference was she was a bit of a health-nut. Lots of juicing,green-supplements and vegetarian about 60-70% of the time.
I was convinced it might be some sort of radiation she is getting exposed to. I convinced my dad to buy a "geiger counter" and sweep the apartment. Nothing :/
I know it's not really possible, but if ever we get to practice medicine like HOUSE MD (TV) and his team, where they go and investigate the house of the patient I'm sure someone would have noticed the blue-oyster shells.
