I swear there was a lot of support for him back in 2016 claiming that
- he was just trying to get R&D money for a newer toxoplasmosis drug
- his company made the drug available for free to the uninsured somehow
- he didn't do anything uncommon for the industry. He's being made a scapegoat while other companies commit the same crimes and get off scott free.
I've listened through his finance and chemistry lessons on youtube and found them very engaging and educational. However, I can't find any documentation supporting the apologist claims above, so I'm inclined to say that the judge is obviously in the right here.
