		I use the Alexa.com extension to check the popularity of certain websites. I've relied on it for 15 years to tell me the ranking of websites. So is there an alternative? A Chrome extension or a website will do.

I love the "DR" (domain rating) metric on Ahrefs. However, it's their measurement of the "size and quality of their backlink profiles," meaning it's indirectly tied to popularity, I guess.
