Interesting...a badly formatted command crashed the radio. It should have rebooted itself, but a software bug prevented that. Later it was restarted by the system and communications were restored. That must have been a frightening 24 hours or so for mission teams.

I'd love to see a more technical article on what the "badly formatted command" looked like. How do their systems allow "badly formatted" to be created?
