Why would it not be feasible to have pipeline direct from the Mediterranean Sea to the Dead Sea? It's not very far, about 60-odd kilometers. They probably wouldn't even need to do any pumping because the Dead Sea is a lot lower than the Mediterranean, and gravity or a siphon would very likely be enough.

It's not as if that would be a major and/or expensive solution.
