Amplitude have recently updated their Free Starter Plan which I currently use. They don't have public pricing, but their sales rep told me some time ago the best offer they can make is 30k/year, which is too expensive for me.

I'm now considering to switch from Amplitude to Mixpanel. Mixpanel's free tier seems generous, and the paid plan seems much more affordable, too (my current usage at Amplitude would cost me around 6k/year at Mixpanel).

Public pricing is awesome. I hope more companies will follow ... I always worry I would get a bad deal if I have to "contact sales" and negotiate.

Has anyone experience with both Amplitude and Mixpanel, possibly done a migration from one service to the other?
