This sounds a bit like the complement sandwich: start with a positive (where it works great), then criticize (where it falls short) and wrap up with another positive. Oddly enough, even though its a bit clichéd, it is a remarkably effective little tool.


That's a good analogy, but I think you meant to say 'compliment' instead of 'complement' here. I have to agree that it is an effective tool. ;)
