I am surprised that Chrome is using Harfbuzz as well: does it use it for non-Linux platforms too?
(AFAIK, Harfbuzz was started as a next-gen layout engine for GNOME to replace Pango by Behdad and co)
Would this work with embedded fonts on a webpage too?
