And they've just double-barreled their feet from use at any MAANG and most Fortune 200's.

Either release FOSS or don't. Pretending to, rewriting the terms, or blindly following others is what loses respect and trust.

Is the code still open source? If it went from open source to open source then that's a lateral move and you're complaining about something else and probably should not conflate the two things.

The license matters if you want corp adoption. SAP as an example won't ship GPL code due to the license terms.
