Are they replacing TPM's with AI TPMs?

They'll just have PMs do the jobs of TPMs, PMMs, occasionally AE, occasionally UX, occasionally SE, and occasionally architects. They'll also start overloading Eng with Program Management work too

As companies cut costs, they force roles to start doing more and more work for same pay.

In my 20 years in this market I found you can replace most TPMs with nothing.

This is most product roles to be honest.

Then every once in a while you meet a product person that is an actual, genuine multiplier of productivity for everyone else.

I wish there was an easier way to find those people.

Always funny reading posts like this from developers (or anyone) who somehow cannot ever imagine that anyone would be saying the same thing about them.

A lot of discussions around AI replacing devs but AI can really replace management. It won't happen by itself due to conflict of interests.
