Full disclosure: after a week of various things happening to me, the CrowdStrike thing was not a thing that affected me.

I don't feel better, worse, or, basically anything because of that fact.

And no, none of the options switch to Linux, evict all security vendors and/or go and live on an island (tempting though the latter is) would have made anything any better, thank you for (not) asking...
