1. Valve cannot "abuse monopoly power" by standardizing controller profiles. If they could then they would already be sued for Steam Input.
2. You wouldn't need monopoly abuse to fix this if American tech companies worked together to design and implement common standards. America's aversion to cooperation isn't Valve's fault.
3. Valve's "monopoly" is impotent anyways. If you are capable of installing Steam, you are capable of installing any equivalent third-party service or game without limitation or interruption from Valve.
