Just goes to show how subjective design is. I feel the exact opposite way on all counts. I find this trend to be refreshing and utterly delightful :)

I generally agreee with the feeling, but keep in mind that on a regular page, the elements would not be all packed together as in this showcase. I imagine the feel would be substantially different.
