Amiga? That had a Motorola 68000 CPU, if I remember correctly.

I knew when I saw the MC68k the first time that it had the Schwartz to rule them all — and decades later it's still true :)



I thought that. Then living in the UK our first 32-bit ARM personal computers turned up in 1987. They even ran rings around high end Unix kit. And here I am in 2015 typing this on a 32-bit ARM A7...
